KATHY MORELAND-LAYTE A professor at Conestoga College outside of Toronto, Canada, Ms. Moreland-Layte holds an MA in Nursing and is a licensed Nurse-Practioner as well as being a certified healing touch therapist. She has published widely in both disciplines across North America. The former Nursing Unit Administrator for the Oncology Department at Cedars-Mount Sinai Medical Center in Toronto, Canada, Kathy is also a former musician and an avid supporter of the arts. She lives in Kitchener, Ontario with her husband and two children. |

ALAN NAGGAR Los Angeles based Ovation, NAACP and LA Theatre award-winning producer/director Alan Naggar has been associated with TUTS/SITV since its’ inception, serving as its’ first Guest Director and Executive Manager in Summer 2006. As an actor, Mr. Naggar is a veteran of movies such as “When Harry Met Sally”, “Working Girl”, “Lovely and Amazing” and over 50 national television commercials, many for the Super Bowl. As a producer/director, he produced the 2004 revival of August Wilson’s “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”. His all-star cast was headlined by Loretta Devine (2006 Oscar-winning actress for “Crash” and star of “Waiting to Exhale”) and James Avery (“Fresh Prince of Bel Aire”). He is on the Board of LA’s oldest theatre company, Theatre East, where he has directed for their One Act Play Festival and has appeared in many of their shows. In 2006, he re-teamed with the “Ma Rainey” crew to co-produce August Wilson’s “Jitney”, which was nominated for 6 Ovation Awards. |

IZUMI TANAKA Having grown up in Japan, Izumi immigrated to the US in 1982 when she attended college in Los Angeles. She is a documentary TV producer and film director whose projects include the feature length documentary film “Pushin’ Forward” (which had its’ debut summer 2007 in Alaska as part of the Midnight Sun endurance race), the award-winning “Another Atlanta” (about the 1996 Summer Paralympic Games) , a tv docudrama about Pearl Harbor (to mark the 50th anniversary of the invasion) as well as the PBS film “Japan: Memoirs of a Secret Empire”. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband Kenny and their cats. |

DR. JOY VROONLAND A retired Air Force Captain, Ms. Vroonland is currently a counselor at the Pathways Center. A former resident of Campton, NH (where she attended both Campton Elementary and PRHS) Joy holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Texas and has practiced in Maryland, Texas and Japan. Having studied at the prestigious Interlochen Academy for the Arts in Michigan, this former violinist has performed with symphony orchestras in both NH and Texas and is currently a member of a hand bell choir. Active in her church, she serves as an adult bible study teacher and as a Board member. She lives outside of Dallas with her husband and two sons. |
