Grace Givers
Our theatre is called the Mary Devlin/Margaret Harmony “Women of Grace” Stage. It is named in tribute to two women who inspired, encouraged and indulged a girlish fascination with MGM musicals into a career in entertainment. Both were women of ineffable grace, spirit, charisma, and charm. Their spirits infuse this magical place with their legacy of love, encouragement and support. This stage is a tribute to all women who have made a difference in someone’s life—who have given of themselves, of their hearts, souls and spirits—to foster hope and make dreams come true.
In their names, we have built this theatre—a place to be entertained, uplifted and moved as they did for me while they were here on Earth. In their names, we have undertaken a scholarship fund that will help area youth live out their dreams—on this stage and at our Youth Camps. Through the generous gifts of our patrons, these children will eventually take the courage fostered in this clearing and bring it to the world stage.
But it starts here, at this time, in this place—this small corner of the world where we can come together to celebrate the gifts of grace left behind from the generation preceding us.
